COVID-19 in Pakistan 2020

Cases drop? What is the matter?

Save The World.

Well, you might be sitting in your bedroom with all the food-filled in your freezer and thinking where that virus vanished off?

I am going to smash some facts in front of you. I don't know at what date you're going to read this so despite mentioning the cases right now in Pakistan. Click here to check the statistics of the date.

Okay! Are you shocked to see the downfall of the curve?

So let's just move to some facts.

         Lockdown:

WHO had advised the Govt to implement a strict lockdown for consecutive 2 weeks  in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has although denied the suggestion and ordered the authorities to move towards smart lockdown.
Prime minister Imran Khan said regarding this that
" smart lockdowns are the only option left for Pakistan as Pakistan is a poor country and  60% of our people rely on their daily wages, we are left with no choice but to reopen."
Prime Minister has faced much criticism on his this decision but afterward the decrease  in cases somehow manifested that he was somewhere right and was talking some sense.
We cannot deny the fact that smart lockdown has worked in keeping people at home tpsome extent while closing marriage halls, restaurants, shopping malls, and complexes  made a big contribution.

         Testing:

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has said that all the circumstantial evidence indicates a drop in patients’ inflow at hospitals despite the recent increase in the number of Covid-19 tests across the country. Whereas Senator Sherry Rehman in one of her tweets claimed that the testing count for COVID-19 has decreased by 56%, which is the major reason of apparent downfall in actives cases?

You know what happens when you use 100% of your brain?

Yeah! No testing, no cases.

While talking to Dawn, Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar said the number of daily tests, which had dropped to around 20,000 [during last week], was again increased to around 25,000 across the country.

He added:

“There are four different parameters through which it can be identified that if the spread of the virus has been reduced. In other words, the system exhibits its situation through a number of daily positive cases, the number of admitted patients, the number of patients on ventilators, and the number of deaths. All four parameters have been showing positive signs as numbers are decreasing,” he said.

While replying to a question, the minister said he was very happy over the situation but at the same, he was also worried that people might stop following the SOPs due to the decrease in cases. “Every person should strictly adopt precautionary measures because otherwise there will be another spike of cases in the coming days,” the minister said.

After all this, the question still stands there that Is it all the propaganda of Govt or we have fought the battle well?

Well! In the end, after you have read what officials got to say,

I would just add that we as the common citizens can just jump from one conclusion to the other and see what all these authorities have got for us. We can't make the test count. We can't rush to the hospitalist to see the actual numbers of patients lying there.

So don't panic and if there is some positive news let it be.

All you are requested is don't take off your mask, and you won't die without partying but with Corona, you would.
